Safety starts with people
The story starts with our team. Everyone at Johan.nl - from the developers who develop the technology to the support colleagues who have daily contact with customers and from management to implementation - knows that security is their responsibility. New colleagues therefore receive training, we keep each other sharp and there is always a privacy officer and security officer looking on. Security is therefore not something of "IT", but of all of us!
Technology as a lock on the door
Of course, we also technically ensure that your data remains in safe hands. All data is transmitted and stored encrypted. Access to the platform is always via two-factor authentication and before new features go live, they are extensively tested - sometimes even with external hackers trying to penetrate. Only if everything holds up will we release new features!
Independent check
We can say ourselves that we do everything right, but independent evidence counts much more. That is why we are certified according to ISO 27001 and NEN 7510. These are international and Dutch standards that strictly test whether your information security is really in order. This is reassessed twice a year in the form of extensive audits.
Servers close to home
The location of the data is also important. We deliberately choose Dutch data centers that are highly secure and meet our requirements. In addition, we always make backups at a different location, so your data will not be lost even in a disaster.
Always in motion
Security is never "done." New technologies, new threats, new ways of working - we keep learning and improving. When incidents occur, they are not only resolved early, but also used to become even better.
