Johan.nl is an independent online platform focused on sustainable employability. Johan B.V. was founded on November 30, 2016, resulting from a partnership between TNO, Stichting Nationaal Platform Duurzame Inzetbaarheid and WerkVanNu.

Johan.nl has succeeded in bringing knowledge and technology together by focusing on the end user and connecting data and contacts. This has created a digital ecosystem. In this ecosystem, employees, employers, industry organizations, content suppliers, service providers, knowledge institutes and educational institutions come together to work on sustainable employability.

Since going live in March 2017, about 300 partners and providers are working with Johan, nearly 900 employers are connected and about 40,000 employees are active on Johan.

An organization likes to have healthy, motivated and skilled employees. For Johan.nl sustainable employability is about working longer, healthily and with pleasure. But mental and physical fitness, work-life balance and career planning are also very important.

Johan.nl has found that in order to get sustainable employability off the ground, joining forces is essential. By working together, knowledge and expertise are combined. As a result, organizations are better able to consider sustainable employability as a core value and science in turn can use the data from the field to validate and optimize its models.

One of Johan.nl's greatest strengths is providing a secure platform that always complies with the latest privacy regulations. Johan.nl is fully compliant with the requirements of the AVG.

Johan.nl is completely independent of content and services related to sustainable employability and only provides technology to its partners. This means that Johan.nl is in no way competitive with market parties / providers.

The costs for Johan.nl depend on how the platform is used. These can be costs due to an active user in the user platform, costs from the Johan store where the complete range of products can be found or for example purchase of tools.
